Since, Fritz control software works only on Windows.

Offered courses include Basic & Advanced Breadboard circuits, Arduino
Micro-controller,
Lego Mindstorm EV3, Raspberry Pi, Python Coding, Lego WeDo 2.0 and Robotics Olympiad
competition preparation for the children age 6-16yrs.

Switch on your creativity!! workshop is focused on the quick and simple projects that
are fun to learn and explains the fundamental concepts very well.
Fun with Circuits – (Age 6-9)

These are simple and fun DIY activities where kids create models that explain simple
concepts of electricity, motor etc.. One of the projects will be a takeaway model per
session per kid.
* Light Your Greeting Card – Creative Greeting card with simple LED circuit and a coin
battery and switch explains the simple concepts of open/close circuits to the little
ones.
* Race your stick cars – Creative two-wheeler Car made up of a 9 volt battery and ice
cream sticks that explain the simple concept of BO Geared motor and its usage to the
little learner.* Build your own Fan – Build a simple and handy fan of your own using a
simple DC motor and understand the concept of clockwise and anti-clockwise movement
according to change in connection.

* Scribble it Away – Build a scribbler, creative a random and automated drawing using
Alligator clip, rocker switch that explains the movement of an un-balanced load.
* Star Wars All the Way (Non-Take Away) – simple circuit concept of the flow of current
with different condition (switches, resistance, capacitance etc. )with amazing Star Wars
theme sound and reflection.

We love Lego WeDo – (Age 6-9yrs) (Non-Take Away)

These sessions will use Lego WeDo based projects to introduce kids to the world of
robotics and visual programming. Kids will develop working models using Lego WeDo Hub,
Motor, Motion Sensor, Tilt Sensor etc..

* Dancing Man – Build a Lego Man using Motor and Smart Hub and write simple code to make
him dances in funny way
* Racing Car – Build a Lego Car using Motor, Smart Hub and Motion Sensor and code to
make it drive, stop and detect obstacles

Follow Lego Mindstorm (Age 9yrs+)(Non-Take Away)

This session will use Lego Mindstorm an advanced robotics kit, and build a working robot
model that follows the black line using two-colour sensor. Kids will program the bot to
turn left / right autonomously. These bots explain the fundamental concepts that are
used in a competition like World Robotics Olympiad etc.

Hello Arduino (Age 9+)
This session will introduce kids to the world of Arduino, Sensors and Programming. Kids
will develop code in Arduino IDE using C Language and read different sensor values and
control different outputs like Motor and LEDs. More details about water sensor, IR
sensor, Touch sensor etc.

Age group – 6yrs to 14yrs

Learn and build the following cool apps:

1. Sensor Controlled Switch
2. Sensor Visualization in AWS
3. Alexa Controlled Switch”

Participants are required to bring a laptop and have an account registered with ‘Amazon
Web Services’.

Makers Tribe is organizing a one day workshop on Home automation using IoT at Maker
Faire, Hyderabad. This Workshop will be taken by the Industry experts who have 7+ years
of Full-stack experience and 3+ years of IoT & IIoT.

Let’s learn IoT in a fun-filled & interesting way. It won’t be a typical workshop.

The Game Play:
 There will be team of maximum 5 members who will select 1 person to drive bot. Team
may change driver mid of the game.
 Each team will get 2 trial runs. And after the trials are over, the team with most
goals scored will win.

At the intersection of Art & Technology, a novel piece of technology – ‘Paper
Circuits’
enable us to embed electronics anywhere & everywhere into simple things around us
and make them interactive.
This hands-on workshop is your gateway to learn technology in one of the most fun &
engaging ways.

Session 1 – 10.00-13.00: Dr Meghna Krishnadas, ecologist will speak on diversity and
functions of ecosystems. Science artist, Ipsa Jain will lead the art session, and will
teach you to make zines based on your learnings from the session.

Session 2 – 14.00-17.00: Dr Jyotsna Dhawan, stem cell biologist will speak on muscle
regeneration – thanks to the stem cells residing in there. Science comic artist, Argha
Manna will lead the art session, and will teach you how to make science comics.

The sessions will be held in English. You will be provided with all the stationery for
the workshop. You will take away the zines/comics that you make during the session.

Superheroes Against Superbugs provides an opportunity for participants and children to
learn about our health and medicine through games and interactive sessions. While having
fun, participants are also empowered with knowledge of how to take care of their health
thus saving themselves and antibiotics, in turn becoming superheroes in the fight
against Superbugs.
