  1. What is “call for makers”?
  • Whether you are an individual maker, hobbyist, tinkerer to a startup enterprise to an organization that makes and designs products; If you want to showcase your creations – be it within the domain of electronics, art, design, mechatronics, gardening, carpentry, or even as exciting as making your own musical instruments, the call for makers invites you to apply for the Maker Faire in Hyderabad.
  1. How can I showcase my creation at makerfaire?
  • Please fill the form below and shortlisted applicants get invited for the makerfaire.
  1. What is the selection criteria?
  • Our core team panel will select to get maximum diversity of makers with respect to- domain, geography, uniqueness, innovation and other factors. Please give as many details when you are filling the form to help the selection panelists know you better.
  1. What kind of space will I get to showcase my creation?
  • Standard spaces are available between 3ft, 6ft or 10ft stalls. Depending on project requirements the team will be allocating stalls. If needed a bigger stall can be provided/rented. 
  1. Can I teach the audience who are visiting my space?
  • Stalls are for show and tell. If the teaching activity is more than 15 mins please fill out the workshop application. 
  1. Is there a fee to showcase? 
  • All shortlisted makers get a complimentary demo space to showcase their project. Please read point number 8. In case you want to sell products during Maker Faire.
  1. Will I get the space for all the day of Maker Faire? 
  • Yes
  1. Can I sell my creation? 
  • Yes, if we think your product is really interesting you can get shortlisted to sell along with showcasing.
  1. What are the dimensions of the space?
  • Standard spaces are available between 3ft, 6ft or 10ft stalls. Depending on project requirements the team will be allocating stalls. If needed a bigger stall can be provided/rented.
  1. When will my application status be updated? 
  • Once the shortlisting process is done we will notify you. Shortlisting process will start in 1st week of September and can take upto 3-4 weeks. 
  1. Can I present it with my team? If yes, is there a limit to the team size? 
  • Team size limit is 2 people.
  1. What is the logistic support that I will be receiving?
  • Support can be provided on a case to case basis. Once you are shortlisted and if you require to support you can contact our team.
  1. Do I get a chance to choose my space for the showcase? 
  • No. The space will be allocated to you depending on the layout of the event.
  1. Can I choose to showcase my creation only for one day?
