Hyderabad’s first Maker Faire was held in 2018
Over 300 volunteers, 60 partners, and several corporate sponsors came together to host Maker Faire Hyderabad 2018 that spanned 3 days and was attended by 15,000+ visitors and participants from 21 cities across India. From the massive Steam-Punk Biryani installation to IoT projects made by schools students as young as 10 years old, Maker Faire Hyderabad 2018 witnessed participation across age groups and skill sets.
We aim to make the event even bigger in 2019, involving many more makers and partners.
What is Maker Faire?
Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.
We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
